ML engineer / Software developer

George Onyemenam

I build software that finds useful information in images. Worm Profiler turns planarian camera captures into measurements. Touchline tracks football players and maps broadcast footage onto a pitch. I also build mobile apps and cloud infrastructure, and occasionally take apart Android games to see how they work.

Selected projects

01 / Chimeric planarian analysis / ilastik

Following donor tissue through a living planarian chimera.

Worm Profiler is an end-to-end imaging pipeline for cross-strain Schmidtea polychroa transplantation experiments. It crops each 26 MP capture to the worm region so Ilastik can process it efficiently, uses pigmentation contrast to separate donor tissue, host tissue, eyes, and background, validates donor masks against hand-drawn ground truth, then measures graft area, position, shape, confidence, and change over time.

    02 — About

I’m George Onyemenam, a London-based developer working across scientific imaging and computer vision. I build the whole path from model integration and data pipelines to the interface people use, then support it with mobile and cloud systems.
